POPconAdmin does not work or cannot communicate with the POPcon service

POPconAdmin communicates with the POPcon service over TCP ports 22772–22774. Troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure only one instance of POPconAdmin is running.
2. Open ports 22772, 22773, 22774 in the Windows firewall on the POPcon server.
3. If running POPconAdmin on a different machine, ensure those ports are open between the machines.
4. Verify POPcon is running as a service (check Windows Services).

Alternative: direct configuration

If POPconAdmin cannot connect, you can configure POPcon directly:

1. Stop the POPcon service.
2. Run POPconSrv.exe from the program folder — it opens a maintenance menu.
3. Edit configuration, then restart the service.
