There are .msg files in the POPcon folder with undistributed emails — how to redistribute them

POPcon stores downloaded emails as .msg files in its program folder while they are being delivered to Exchange. If Exchange was unavailable, these files remain there.

To retry delivery

  1. Move the .msg files from the main POPcon folder into the PICKUP subfolder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\POPcon\PICKUP).
  2. POPcon will pick up files from the PICKUP folder during its next mail retrieval cycle and attempt delivery to Exchange again.

Note: Do not move files while POPcon is actively processing. You may stop the service first if needed.
