POPcon Mail Cycle Scheduling

Simple Scheduling

Simple scheduling configures POPcon to wait a fixed number of minutes between mail retrieval cycles. After each cycle completes, POPcon pauses for the specified interval before starting the next cycle.

Simple scheduling is appropriate for most environments where mail should be retrieved at a consistent frequency throughout the day.

Complex Scheduling

Complex scheduling provides fine-grained control by allowing you to specify exact retrieval times on a per-weekday basis. For each day of the week, you can define one or more specific times at which POPcon should initiate a mail retrieval cycle.

Use the following controls to manage the schedule:

Complex scheduling is useful for environments where mail retrieval should occur frequently during business hours but less often (or not at all) during nights and weekends.
