POPcon Administrator

The POPcon Administrator is a utility application for monitoring and managing the POPcon service. It can be run on any machine on the network that has access to the POPcon service.

Log Window

Displays a real-time log of POPcon operations including account polling, email downloads, delivery attempts, errors, and antispam/antivirus activity. The log window scrolls automatically as new entries appear.

Show Log Update

Check this option to enable real-time scrolling of the log window. Uncheck it to freeze the display at the current position, allowing you to review earlier log entries without interruption.

Controls

• Configure: Opens the POPcon configuration dialog to modify accounts, Exchange Server settings, antispam, antivirus, and all other options.
• Download Now: Immediately triggers a download cycle for all enabled accounts, regardless of their individual schedules.
• Exit: Closes the POPcon Administrator window.

Note: Closing the POPcon Administrator does not stop the POPcon service. The service continues to run in the background and process scheduled downloads. To stop the service, use the Windows Services management console.
