Integrated Anti-virus Options

Enable Antivirus

Activates POPcon’s integrated antivirus scanning. When enabled, all incoming emails and attachments are scanned for malware before delivery to Exchange.

What to Do with Infected Emails

Configure the action taken when an email is found to contain a virus or malware:

• Move to badmail folder: The infected email is moved to the configured badmail directory for quarantine and later review by an administrator.
• Divert to email address with warning: The infected email is redirected to a specified mailbox with a warning notification attached, allowing an administrator to inspect the message.
• Delete: The infected email is permanently deleted without delivery or notification. Use this option with caution as the email cannot be recovered.

Antivirus License

• Subscription date: Displays the expiration date of the current antivirus signature subscription.
• Order extension: Opens the subscription renewal process to extend antivirus signature updates.
• Current signatures: Shows the version and date of the currently installed virus signature database.
