Exchange Server Configuration
Exchange Server Address
The hostname or IP address of the Microsoft Exchange Server that POPcon delivers emails to via SMTP (e.g., exchange.local or 127.0.0.1).
IP Port
The SMTP port on the Exchange Server. Default is 25. Change this if your Exchange Server uses a non-standard SMTP receive connector port.
Allow StartTLS
When enabled, POPcon attempts to upgrade the SMTP connection to Exchange using StartTLS encryption. The Exchange Server must have a valid certificate and support the STARTTLS command.
Timeout
Maximum time in seconds to wait for a response from the Exchange Server during SMTP delivery. Increase this value if you experience timeouts with large emails or a slow network connection.
Retry Interval
Time in seconds to wait before retrying delivery to the Exchange Server after a failed attempt.
HELO Domain
The domain name POPcon sends in the SMTP HELO/EHLO command when connecting to the Exchange Server. This should match a domain recognized by your Exchange configuration.
Postmaster Address
The email address used as the envelope sender (MAIL FROM) when POPcon delivers emails to Exchange. This address receives non-delivery reports and bounce notifications.
Notification Options
- Spam rejected: Send a notification to the postmaster when an email is rejected by the antispam filter.
- Unknown address rejected: Send a notification to the postmaster when an email cannot be delivered because the recipient address does not match any Exchange mailbox.
- Moved to BADMAIL: Send a notification to the postmaster when an email is moved to the badmail folder due to a virus detection or repeated delivery failure.
Test Settings
Click this button to verify the SMTP connection to the Exchange Server. POPcon will attempt to connect, authenticate, and send a test HELO/EHLO command to confirm that delivery is possible.
