Distribution Rules

Distribution rules allow fine-grained control over how emails are routed after download. Rules are evaluated in order from top to bottom; the first matching rule determines the action taken unless processing is configured to continue.

Rule List

Displays all configured distribution rules in their current priority order. Each rule shows its name, conditions summary, and configured action.

Controls

• Add: Opens the Rule Details dialog to create a new distribution rule.
• Edit: Opens the Rule Details dialog for the selected rule to modify its conditions and actions.
• Remove: Deletes the selected distribution rule.
• Move Up: Moves the selected rule higher in the list, increasing its priority. Rules higher in the list are evaluated first.
• Move Down: Moves the selected rule lower in the list, decreasing its priority. Rules lower in the list are evaluated after those above them.

Rule ordering is critical: because rules are evaluated top-to-bottom, more specific rules should generally be placed above more general ones to ensure correct routing.
