Terms of Service

Applicable to POPcon and POPcon PRO.

1. Introduction

POPcon and POPcon PRO collect emails from users’ Gmail or Outlook 365 mailboxes and forward them to the SMTP server of the user’s choice, typically Microsoft Exchange. By using these applications, you consent to this agreement. Your use is also governed by Google’s and Microsoft’s terms of service and privacy policies.

2. User Eligibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Description of Services

POPcon and POPcon PRO collect emails from Gmail and Outlook 365 using their respective APIs and forward them to the user’s SMTP server.

Google OAuth: Access to https://mail.google.com/ is requested for email forwarding.
Microsoft OAuth: Access to Microsoft API scopes as necessary for email forwarding functionality.

4. User Obligations

You must comply with all local, state, national, and international laws. You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operations, or circumvent security measures.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

POPcon and POPcon PRO access email content, metadata, and other relevant user data required to perform the email forwarding service. We strictly adhere to Google’s Limited Use Requirements and Microsoft’s data handling policies. Your data will not be transferred to third parties except where necessary to provide the service. We do not sell user data. Your data is not used for advertising purposes.

You may revoke the app’s access to your data at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings.

6. Third-Party Services

By using POPcon and POPcon PRO, you agree to Google’s API Services User Data Policy and Microsoft’s APIs Terms of Use. We are not responsible for the practices or performance of Google or Microsoft services.

7. Intellectual Property

We own all rights to the POPcon and POPcon PRO apps and their content, except for user-provided data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these terms.

8. Disclaimers

POPcon and POPcon PRO are provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice.

10. Data Protection

We comply with GDPR for users in the European Economic Area and CCPA for users in California. These apps are not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
