Master Relay Configuration

The Master Relay is the local SMTP endpoint that Exchange sends outgoing emails to. MultiSendcon listens here and routes messages to the appropriate relay server based on the sender address.

Local IP Address

The IP address where MultiSendcon binds and listens for incoming SMTP connections from Exchange. The Exchange send connector must point to this address. On systems with multiple network cards, select the appropriate one.

IP Port

Standard SMTP uses port 25, but Exchange already uses port 25 on its receive connectors. MultiSendcon must use a different port — the default is 2500. Any unused port will work.

The Exchange send connector must be configured to use this same port number.

Access Restrictions

You can restrict which IP addresses are allowed to connect to MultiSendcon. Best practice is to limit access to only the Exchange server’s IP address, preventing MultiSendcon from being misused as an open relay by other systems.
